Toxic Relationships Friends, Parent-child and more

Toxic relationships are all around us. Have you ever been in a relationship where you feel more stressed and tired rather than happy and glowing? You may unknowingly be trapped in a relationship that’s leaving you drained and angry. Toxic relationships come in many hues. Sometimes, we date toxic people. And at other times, we have friends and even family who are toxic for our lives. Toxic relationships have many faces; they pop up in both our personal (parent-child, siblings, friendships) and occupational (supervisor-employee, coworkers) lives. You know the type – you lend a family member money, or a co-worker your car; or you care for their children while they go on vacation hoping they will one day return the favor. Unfortunately the toxic person doesn’t pay you back, returns your car damaged with no offer to repair it and asks you to watch their children again next vacation without ever offering to watch yours. It doesn’t happen once, it happens repeatedly in different forms. You feel hurt, taken advantage of and angry – at the offender and yourself. Bottom line is: you are consistently being brought down. You feel “used.”

Teen Drug Addicts? Is your child addicted??

Many parents don't believe that their teenager will ever use drugs. While in a perfect world, this may be true, in this day and age with bullying and peer pressure, most teens are feeling the push to try drugs. Since drugs are easily acquired in most high schools, it's not difficult for students to use them as bartering agents to persuade their peers to try drugs and join in the "fun". Many times, students may not want to use drugs, but they will do it just for acceptance into the group. Establishing autonomy and being accepted by others are two of the biggest developmental stages of adolescences; however, drugs don't have to be involved.

How do I know if I’m a lesbian or not?

Lesbians are women who are attracted to other women. This can be a physical attraction, emotional attraction or sexual attraction. If you’re a woman attracted to women, you might be a lesbian. Or you might be bisexual or you might simply be a straight women who is attracted to a friend. It may take you some time to determine which one you are.
Some women claim to have known from a very early age that they were lesbian, or at least knew that there was something “different” about themselves. Others don’t come out until their forties, fifties and even later, after having spent years in a heterosexual marriage. Whatever your situation, what is most important is that you’re taking the time now to try and figure it out and get to know yourself better.
Call me I can help you lets talk about it!!

Internet Addiction does this sound like you???

Internet addiction? Sounds unlikely, right? How can the use of a positive, dynamic force like the Internet become a negative, debilitating factor in someone’s life. Simple. Just like the use of food, the drinking of alcohol, or the purchasing of material things can escalate into misuse and abuse, so can one’s interest in and preoccupation with using the Internet become an addiction.
Do you feel preoccupied with the Internet (think about previous on-line activity or anticipate next on-line session)?
Do you feel restless, moody, depressed, or irritable when attempting to cut down or stop Internet use?
Do you stay on-line longer than originally intended?
Have you jeopardized or risked the loss of significant relationship, job, educational or career opportunity because of the Internet?
Have you lied to family members, therapist, or others to conceal the extent of involvement with the Internet?
Do you use the Internet as a way of escaping from problems or of relieving a dysphoric mood (e.g., feelings of helplessness, guilt, anxiety, depression)?

What is Porn Addiction?

Similar to someone with a chemical or substance addiction, porn addicts tend to replace important relationships and commitments with their “drug” of choice: pornography. Non-Internet porn addicts can be found in places like strip clubs and adult bookstores, but it is unlikely that they have a strip club addiction or an adult bookstore addiction, but rather that they have consistent and compulsive sexual problems that manifest in different ways.
Talking about the issues in detail with a trusted friend or therapist who will be as honest with you as you are honest with them. Call me I can help you!

Online dating: Match vs. Plenty of Fish vs. OK Cupid

A special note for women is that for sites like Match and Plenty of Fish, your responses can be pretty overwhelming; it’s simply the nature of the site and men in general. This may be a good or bad thing depending on your tolerance for random email.

If you like to fill out online polls, OK Cupid is the one for you. To complete your profile on OkCupid, you must answer a question of fun yet serious quiz questions about yourself.
Match and Plenty of Fish are good if you just want a traditional personals-like forum to meet other people. If you want a more polished site with some “adult supervision,” Match is probably better for you; however, if cost is key, Plenty of Fish wins over Match.

SHOULD I DELETE MY EX-PARTNER AS A FACEBOOK FRIEND?

Why would somebody even want to stay friends after a breakup? Well, obviously, you can use Facebook to keep tabs on an ex-partner. In fact, 67% of surveyed college students reported monitoring their ex-partners on Facebook Keeping tabs on an ex through Facebook, however, may make a breakup more difficult. A new study found that the more time people spent ”creeping” their ex-partners on Facebook (i.e., checking their page or friends list) the less they were able to recover from the breakup. In other words, they felt more distressed, more negative emotions, more desire and longing for their ex-partners, and less personal growth.

Does it come from your upbringing masturbating?

Many men who are insecure in their childhood or who have had very strict upbringing tend to get addicted to Masturbation. It has been proved by psychologists that addiction to Masturbation is a mental problem that needs attention. Although masturbation is considered to be a healthy alternative of deriving the resultant pleasure of sex without actually performing the sexual act, yet if masturbation is performed excessively due to addiction then it can cause a lot of damages.

Does Size really Matter?

Stop blaming your penis is what you should do. First of all, I doubt that your penis is so small that it is going to be a problem. Yes, there are women who prefer a man with a bigger penis, but if that’s their main criteria in choosing their partners. Then if I were you, I wouldn’t want to date someone like that, just as I don’t think a woman, with any size chest, would want to date a man who required his partner to have large breasts. You tell yourself that you won’t pursue a relationship because of the size of your penis, when that’s not the real cause at all.

Porn addict are you one?

Masturbation, porn and other sexual activities can be considered an addiction under certain circumstances. Some treatment programs and therapists note that using masturbation as a way to fall asleep or as a way to control anxiety can indicate an addiction.
